In Japan immediately after World War II, there were many mixed-race orphans born to Japanese women and U.S. soldiers, who were not accepted by their parents or society. Miki Sawada, the founder of Elizabeth Saunders Home, who saw such children, decided that her mission was to save them. This is a special program in which former children from Home talk about how these children survived despite being subjected to unreasonable discrimination in society and what role Elizabeth Saunders Home has played.
